1. The following are known Action Replay Codes for Sonic Advance on Nintendo Game Boy Advance (GBA). These codes were also known as GameShark Codes and in most cases will work on both devices. These codes are for the U.S. Version of the game.
2. Mewtwo Cheat When you get your masterball and all the badges go to the cave behind where you fight Misty and when you see Mewtwo go and fight him but do not weaken him or attack him just throw the masterball at him and then if you do not have a open slot for Mewtwo in your poke belt go to Bill's PC and Mewtwo should be there.

While playing the game, press Start + Select + A + B.

Successfully complete the Leaf Forest level with Sonic to unlock Cream. Cream is extremely useful when facing Bosses because her Chao will attack it when you press B button. This makes it especially easy to defeat Bosses that are hard to hit, such as the fourth, sixth, and eighth.

At the start of any non-Boss level, you can get an extra boost of speed out of the start gate. Quickly hold Right just before the counter says 'START!'. This may require a few attempts to get the correct timing. Also, use the following for a speed boost on Sky Canon. Choose any character that is fast. Select the Sky Canon Act 2 stage. Once you find a fan that blows you to get more speed, go back near the fan. Wait a few seconds and their speed will increase. After this process, turn around. This is useful with Tails because he starts by walking, then jogging, and finally flying.

When you get to a red ramp in the level 1, you can get farther and higher. When your about to jump on it, press A when about to jump. This only can be done on level 1.

When playing as Cream the Rabbit, you can use Cheese (her Chao) for more than attacking enemies. You can also call Cheese to snag Special Rings.

On the huge machine at the end of the final level, use Tails' propellers to hit his head. Note: You need to hit him with the propellers precisely.

This glitch works for Knuckles, Tails, and Cream. Go to a Boss with one of those characters and fly or glide to the left side of the screen. They will be blurry and you will see doubles of them. Also, if you are Cream and she gets tired while flying, when Cheese tries to pull her up there will be two Cheeses.

Defeat Gamma during Emerl's story line to unlock Gamma.

Successfully complete story mode with all characters to unlock the Green Hill Zone level.

Successfully complete Tails' episode in story mode to unlock the Fly And Get mini-game.

Successfully complete Knuckle's episode in story mode to unlock the Mine Hunt mini-game.

Successfully complete Sonic's episode in story mode to unlock the Soniclash! Mini-game.

Successfully complete Shadow's episode in story mode to unlock the Speed Demon mini-game.

Successfully complete Amy's episode in story mode to unlock the Treasure Island mini-game.

After completing all the episodes in story mode, go back and play each episode again. At the end of each episode you will see an entry from Professor Gerald's Journal, which explains his experiments on Emerl and more about Emerl's past as a battle weapon.

In story mode, press R to edit skills. For Emerl, find 'Healing Skills'. Select E-102's Healing skill and it will make recoveries much faster.

Load all of E-102's skills (you must change Emerl's memory to 2), but use Shadow's CC Nightmare skill for heavy attacks.

Get your green bar full either by powering up using L, or by blocking attacks. When your bar is full and your character starts flashing, press R. If the attack was successful, your opponent/opponents will die. Additionally, enter 'EkiTa' as a password in Emerl's story line at the Sonic Team Building. Equip the technique as ground power. Let your opponent come close to you, then press R. He should attack furiously, then end with a whip-like attack.

Sonic Advance 4

Face a wall or object and let an opponent come to you. When they get close, use a Heavy Attack to send them flying towards the wall. Stand still. They will bounce off the wall and fly back towards you. Just before they hit the ground, Heavy Attack them again. Keep doing this until they are defeated.

To do a combo, it is best to start with an upper attack. When the enemy lands, do your PPP or PPK combo then a heavy attack.

Go to training. Select any of the following: any character, combo, world, and computer. Heal until you are glowing, then use a combo. In story mode, when you are glowing and use a combo on someone, you will stop. The bolt flashes, and they will die. Because this is training no matter how use the combo the bolt never flashes, and you are still hitting the CPU in slow motion.

After you defeat Dr. Robotonik as Emerl, you will beam over as Sonic and must defeat Emerl when in a turbo-mode state. It does not matter how weak Emerl's attacks might have been, he can still whip you around like nothing. Use your special attacks by pressing A in the original order (1, 2, 3). When he comes at you. jump and press R until he is KOed, then just press R when he comes at you the next time. If he does come back at you rather quickly, he is healing himself; run at him and press R. Keep doing this pattern and you should defeat him easily. Note: This works 99.9% of the time. Additionally, after defeating Dr. Eggman as Emerl in his story mode, you will have to fight the now out of control Emerl. The easiest way to do this is to use your basic three hit combo, then hold Back and pressing B to hit him up into the air. When he comes back down, hit him back up into the air again. Keep doing this until you win. It helps if you do the attack just before he touches the ground.

Edit Emerl's skill and change his Jump to 'Rouge Flight' and Air Attack to 'Tail's Cyclone'. Then, just stay above your opponent(s) head(s) and press A to jump and press B to attack. Note: This works about 95% of the time. However Shadow might be able to still attack you; try to stay in a corner so you can clearly see where he is approaching from.
